Uploading Photos & Terms of
Usage - please read
Eventually there will be an actual website for Photos For Art,
where we can all create separate accounts to upload our favorite
photos for artists to make use of. Until
then we can all upload our photos to this OSWOA gallery for all to
view and use!
TERMS OF USE:
The use of these photos is limited only to the
creation of art. Any other use is strictly forbidden without
the permission of the copyright holder.
By the act of uploading
photos you are saying that you are the rightful copyright owner of
that photo and you are freely allowing artists to use the photo
without fear of copyright infringement to create art with.
It's up to us to be sure that photos made available to other
artists are free from restrictions other then those already
stated.
PLEASE UPLOAD ONLY good quality
photos and photos that the majority of parents would not mind
their children viewing. PHOTOS WILL BE JURIED
AND MONITORED! Poor quality photos, or photos
judged indecent or improper, will be removed.
UPLOADING
PHOTOS: Click the link below, using the word
photo for both ID and Password. Once
logged in, click the Upload Art link to browse your computer files
for the photo you wish to upload.
Once you upload the art from your
computer, you need only fill in the
title, and description. You do nothing with the keywords,
price and/or the priority choices, since they were created
specifically for searching and selling OSWOA art..
To change already loaded photos
(I.E. Delete, change description, etc) use the Manage Art link on
the Admin page. From that page you can view the gallery to
see how your photos look and then use your back button to go back
to the admin. page.
Since we will all be using the same
gallery, please, keep in mind that the
same administration controls will be available to everyone.
Be very careful that you're only dealing with our own art so you
don't change or delete someone else's work. Do not change
the account information.. Most of the features on the
Administration page you will not be using. They are the
standard features on the OSWOA art gallery to allow you to manage
your OSWOA gallery. They will not
apply to this shared gallery.
When you upload the art, be
sure to begin the title with PHOTO FOR ART so when the image shows
up in an art search of all art, it will be easily identified as
not being an OSWOA.

(use the word photo for both the user ID
and Password) Since we are
all sharing the same gallery, the Wishlist feature of this
gallery will not work . Since Wishlist is the feature
that allow visitors to contact you if they like your work, if you
wish to
be contacted as the original photographer, you'll need to
include contact information in the description of the photo.
Uploading photos provides another great way to promote your art,
since in your description you can also share your Ebay user name,
a link to your website, or whatever else you might want to
promote! You can never do too much promotion! |
